MBPs are focused on adding value by managing mobility needs of the Business and HR as well as supporting a seamless experience for our clients.This individual will manage the advisory activities of Citis Mobility Team, which has the responsibility of enabling mobility in support of Citis businesses worldwide. With a fast-expanding global workforce, cost effective, practical mobility solutions form a key part of our organizational resourcing strategy.This individual will oversee a global team of Mobility Specialists and will be responsible for internal consulting services to HRBP/ HDPs and Business managers across the organization. The MBP will report to the cluster Mobility Business Advisor (MBA) and will play an important role in driving Citis global Mobility Strategy and Mobility Programs. They may also have deputy cluster responsibilities and be expected to provide and/or leverage internal and external relationship to obtain, guidance on country specific nuances and cross border complexities.In this role, youre expected to:Acting as a consultant to HR and the business managers to develop cost effective, practical solutions that enable and support mobility.Liaison with other departments to ensure the success of the mobility program, such as Payroll, Tax, Travel, etc.Implementing global mobility program enhancements, taking account of trends in the global mobility program together with Citis business needs.Communicating and educating managers and assignees regarding Citis global mobility program and policies.Problem resolution, acting as the escalation point for any issues and/or concerns raised by HR or Business Managers on Mobility Programs.Ensuring corporate and assignee compliance with immigration, labor, employment and tax legislation (in partnership with legal, tax and local HR) on assignment structure and program design.Providing tools and collateral and necessary training to ensure effective HR and business understanding of Citis mobility approach and policies.Responsible for performance and development of Mobility Specialists and seeking opportunities for growth.Supports cluster MBA as the key contact for global projects & initiatives that focus on operational enhancements and compliance.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.As a successful candidate, youd ideally have the following skills and exposure:7+ years in Global Mobility Program management or relevant Company experience.Extensive knowledge of mobility, including policies, compensation and benefits, relocation, immigration and tax.Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to innovate .Excellent organizational, planning and decision-making skills are essential.Strong communicator with customer focus, proven relationship management skills, and the ability to influence and work with managers and employees at all levels.Ability to adapt technical content to a specific audience to aide & develop a more complete baseline understandingGreat active listening skills.Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skillsStrong writing and presentation skills (including technical and analytical work)Demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with employees.Adaptability and flexibility, able to work well with occasional ambiguityStrong team player, with the ability to flex work and communication styles to account for different cultures and geographical differences.Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
