This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra - HYBRID. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways: Under moderate guidance from more experienced attorneys, supervises the preparation of legal advice for a particular business or functional area on broad, non-complex issues. Continues to build knowledge of either a practice area such as employment, contracts, litigation, securities, intellectual property, etc. or the internal client\'s business and associated products/services, shares learnings with subordinate team members. Contributes as the first line manager within a larger team supporting a department/unit. but may independently manage small or routine matters/assignments. Leads team in handling a portfolio of routine legal issues, supporting internal stakeholders, relevant to topics affecting the assigned entity. Supervises and conducts legal research, document review, writing and editing legal responses, etc. Drafts legal strategies/solutions and guides/approves the drafts of subordinate team members. Seeks input from senior colleagues to solve problems that may extend to the larger issues at hand and the strategies of the internal entity. Supervises the coordination and collaboration with various business areas to gather information related to legal matters or due diligence activities. Synthesizes information prepared by the team and presents summary to senior attorneys for further review. May coordinate with outside counsel for information exchange. Conducts a first review of outside counsel work product and provides a summary of findings/observations to senior attorneys. Develops legal expertise through the execution of more complex activities and works to develop expanded knowledge of the specific line of business/ function(s) or practice area(s) supported. Trains and guides subordinate team on acquired expertise. Has legal management oversight for a team of attorneys or other legal/administrative staff including financial and human resources management. Complex resource management issues may be escalated to a more senior manager. Job scope is limited to personal contribution and the stewardship of staff in the achievement of team goals. Advice may have a direct impact on the internal client\'s operational or risk position. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Advanced Legal Degree usually required. License to practice in local jurisdiction usually required. In some jurisdictions, may not require licensure or certification for placement in the role, in others, licensure/certification is required. In some cases, role will require oversight of attorneys and legal work outside their country of licensure. To be successful in this role, we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking the following: 8-9 years minimum of total work experience as a qualified attorney is preferred.
