We're seeking a future team member for the role of Regulatory Change Lead to join our team. This role is located in Chennai,TamilNadu /Pune, Maharashtra - HYBRID
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: • Own, lead and maintain the APAC FCC Horizon Scanning and regulatory change management process, including representing APAC FCC at global regulatory change management forums/working groups.
• Analyze complex, existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements and industry practices impacting FCC. Leads associated stakeholder communications.
• Analyze policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with all applicable FCC laws, rules and regulations. Validates the appropriateness of control processes or contributes to the development of improvements.
• Support MLROs and business stakeholders in identifying and executing required regulatory change, including updates to policies, procedures and controls.
• Contribute to the development of key projects and programs to enhance governance and oversight of the APAC FCC function. Play a critical role in delivering key governance related APAC FCC initiatives.
• Conduct review of APAC FCC policies and procedures framework, identify opportunities to streamline and rationalize as appropriate, including drafting of policy documentation.
• Use in-depth knowledge of the businesses to determine potential risks to the organization. Drives any resulting change needed to mitigate risk.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to understand compliance policies and process assigned tasks in accordance with procedures.
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Business or Finance degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of total work experience.
• Financial Crimes Compliance experience essential, with a focus on regulatory change and policy/procedures preferred.
• Willing to consider broader Financial Services, Audit or Compliance background accompanied by strong transferrable experience/skills.
