The VP will lead the global operations, applications, and service delivery functions for the global cloud service portfolio and will identify requirements, manage priorities, provide status, manage budgets, and ultimately ensure that service delivery is on time, on budget, and of maximum quality.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:xc2xb7 Manage the vision, design and deployment of all SuccessFactors cloud applications, including deployment and maintenancexc2xb7 Continue the transformation of cloud applications to a SaaS service-based offering based on DORA/Dev Ops model.xc2xb7 Harmonize the application operations across SAP SuccessFactors products and drive consistency in processes and tools.xc2xb7 Provide cloud service management strategy, process, and procedures across the organizationxc2xb7 Lead a consistent, measurable process to operationalize and scale cloud based strategic initiatives and executionxc2xb7 Manage Capex, and Opex costs; appropriate value for investmentsxc2xb7 Responsible for running a 24x7x365 Cloud Operations organization with staff located in multiple Global locations.xc2xb7 Develop and mentor a high performing team of global professionalsxc2xb7 Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction related to cloud hosting service deliveryxc2xb7 Work closely with Engineering, Platform and technology vendors to ensure SLAs are met and quality meets or exceed expectationsxc2xb7 Manage adherence to security and compliance safeguards, policies and proceduresxc2xb7 Managing change, assets, and documentation for top quality supportxc2xb7 Establishes key KPI, SLA's, metrics and measurements demonstrating area health. Communicates through operational reviews. Measures and tracks against industry benchmarks and standards.xc2xb7 Identifies and implements critical metrics necessary to manage and monitor the performance of overall operations including: capacity, availability, budget, and inventory.xc2xb7 Develops opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent service delivery.xc2xb7 Manages budgeting and forecasting, planning, deployment, incident and problem management, change management.xc2xb7 Manage the application level security teams to ensure execution of key security initiatives including regular maintenance, patching, audit compliance and certificationsQUALIFICATIONSThis is a high-profile, global position requiring a proven and experienced operations executive, steeped in cloud based platforms. A strategic manager with a high level of business acumen, pension for innovation, natural leadership skills, transformative mind-set and a hyper-focus on making a positive impact!xc2xb7 BA or BS, preferably in business, economics, or a field related to computer science or information science, MBA preferredxc2xb7 15+ years of experience in an operational, management, or services delivery role (ideally for an IaaS / PaaS provider or Cloud Hosting company)xc2xb7 5+ years of experience managing high\-volume customer\-facing SaaS applications is requiredxc2xb7 5+ years of upper management experience and leadership skillsxc2xb7 5+ years Hands-on experience in 24x7x365 cloud operations or SaaS Operationsxc2xb7 Direct experience driving continuous improvements in process and operational efficiencies. Lead process-improvement efforts and manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions. Drive best practices across cross functional teams.xc2xb7 Expert in managing Global Infrastructure and the team that manages Global Infrastructure to meet regional compliance requirements and achieve 99.9% up time with high velocity on ticket resolution and issue remediation.xc2xb7 Knowledgeable in HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, EU Data Sovereignty and Privacy, and other compliance metrics along with ISO 9000 and other quality assurance metrics and capable of implementing them in a fast growing Cloud environment.xc2xb7 Drive for results with a passion for modern micro services architectures and continuous deliveryxc2xb7 Experience building and leading a high performance team across multiple geographiesxc2xb7 Ability to quickly drill down to solve problems and take ownership of the resolutionxc2xb7 Demonstrated ability to think strategicallyxc2xb7 Experience integrating with 3rd party service platformsxc2xb7 Experience with configuration management systems and associated automationxc2xb7 Management of xe2x80x9caccess' under defined compliance standards (i.e. SOC1/2/3, SAS70 etc.)xc2xb7 Strong Leadership and team building skillsxc2xb7 Ability to partner cross functionally in order to drive complex strategic projectsxc2xb7 Excellent project management skills and ability to work to deadlines successfully managing multiple business-driven initiativesxe2x80x8bBring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
