Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager I

We\'re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager I to join our Global Custody Operations team. This role is in Pune - MH/ Chennai-TN HYBRID role.

In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Monitor processes on a regular basis and take corrective action when required.

• Maintain relations with the client contact and ensure that their needs are met.

• Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

• Ensure that all clients complaints are handled efficiently.

• Escalate issues on a timely and proactive basis with clients and follow-up for timely resolution.

• Document all client facing teams conference calls. Identify action items and track till closure.

• Draft Monthly status reports for the client and higher Management.

• Validate SLAs before the final sign off is done.

• Plan and execute process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure integrity of MIS

• Oversee compliance of Company Standard Quality Systems

• Provide logistics support & cross functional co-ordination.

• Ensure that all audit related issues are closed.

• Ensure communication of HR Policies to the team members.

• Identify the skill gaps with team leads & highlight the same for action.

• Track best practices and share the same with the team.

• Knowledge and exposure to Six-sigma/Process re-engineering tools

• Ensure all the risks areas been Identify in the process and proper controls are in place.

• Validate the Month Books.

• Conducting Skips in timely manner.

• Ensure local business recovery plans are updated and tested in accordance with corporate standards.

• Conduct Time and Motion study whenever it\'s required.

To be successful in this role, we\'re seeking the following:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience would be beneficial.

• 9-12 years of total work experience and at least 2-3 years in management preferred.

• Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

• Either solid experience in a NAV/ Fund Accounting operational environment; or broader experience in several related business areas including perhaps trade capture, data, reconciliations, custody & Accounting Reconciliation, Internal and external Reconciliation.

• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

• Experience managing client relationships, including at senior levels.

• An effective communicator on all levels and having polished presentation skills.
