Job Description


This is regarding an opening with a leading Integrated Environment Management and Water & Sustainability organization, headquartered in Kolkata.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all financial operations viz., accounting and payroll activities are performed in accordance with statutory requirements, corporate policies and procedures.

2. Maintain and supervise budgeting and MIS process for the Organization.

3.Prepare and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

4. Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

5. Take responsibility for developing, improving and automation of policies & procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure.

6. Preparing , checking and reviewing innovative financial models and proposals for new tenders , bids and new businesses and investment opportunities, reviewing RFPs , pre - bid queries ,concession agreements , etc.

7. Assisting in preparing and making business offers , presentations to investors , etc.

8. Co-ordinate with external auditors for faster resolution of audit queries and presentation of financial data in required format.

9. Ensure proper execution of statutory and internal audits as per timelines and in coordination with internal control and compliance department if required.

10. Manage Financial Management Information Systems and ensure that relevant financial data / reports are provided on a regular basis to assist business leaders in making informed decisions.

11. Manage Statutory compliance.

Requirements:

- Qualification: CA

- Experience Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.

- Experience in independently handling Audits and complying with Board meetings requirements.

- Experience in EPC & Infra sector will be added advantage.

- Must have proficiency in EXCEL, Budget preparation, Ledger, Tally and ERP.
