Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sector and Industry Mapping.

2. Business development for target sectors/clients across public and private market deals.

3. Preparation of pitch books & presenting to the clients, developing the positioning & building deal theses.

4. Building relationships with key players and decision makers in the sector.

5. Tracking key developments in the Sector & Target Companies.

6. Drive the transaction with the team & assist in the development of complex financial models.

7. Interaction with Research/IBD Product/Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

8. Responsible for overviewing the due diligence, analysis and documentation of live transactions.

9. Maintain databases and case studies of transactions in the relevant sector/product.

Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience :

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.

2. Self-driven with the ability to work long hours under tight deadlines with very high attention to detail.

3. Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.

4. Well versed with key Financial and Analytical skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters.

5. Top notch interpersonal skills and ability to hold conversation at CXO level; ability to articulate complex thoughts in a clear, concise and compelling manner.

6. Experience of strong relationships in Corporate Banking or selling at least two of the four IBD products - ECM, M&A, Private Equity and Structured Finance.

7. Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different people, meet deadlines; ability to work efficiently with different teams.

8. Drive things for successful closure.

9. Awareness about the Indian capital markets

10. Strong experience in financial modelling, preparation of deal collaterals and pitchbook.

11. Qualification: CA/ MBA in Finance

12. Must have 7-10 years of relevant experience in IB - Coverage/Origination.
