Vice President, Back-End Engineer - Back-end development

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Back-End Engineer to join our TSG LINE of BUSINESS OR CORPORATE ORGANIZATION team. This role is in Pune, Maharashtra -HYBRID -2days per week



In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Bachelor of engineering in Computer science or Information technology

As a back-end developer, you will join our Automation and Tools team. You will be responsible for development via the development lifecycle. Initiatives and tasks will be identified, and requirements will be documented. Vetting of requirements and collaborating with the team in defining/confirming the scope of work. Development of the design and creation of appropriate design documentation. Initiate design reviews with leadership and peer team. Code solution with appropriate pre-and post- testing. Test code in non-prod environments. Initiate RFCs and promote approved code into production. Follow agile based planning and work processes. The scope of work is for the creation of automated processes that will allow for best-in-class support of server provisioning services.

Team Overview: (1-3 sentences)

Automation and Tooling team provides infrastructure-as-a-service for TSG Engineering focused on providing stable, scalable, and robust infrastructure for the firm while leading the strategy of our integrated engineering solutions.

Primary Skills

Expertise in Python framework for the backend development Experience with Django and Flask framework

Experience with Restful API creation /Swagger.

Working with Python modules

Develop and maintain internal/ external API integrations.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

Develop Unit testing for the automation.

Expertise CI CD deployment

GIT Lab experience

Ansible knowledge preferred.

Understanding Agile methodology.

experience in JIRA / Confluence is preferred.

Secondary skill

Good Knowledge with Storage SAN, NAS, Object

Knowledge with storage product with Netapp VMAX, PMAX etc.

knowledge of Mongo DB, SQL

Network knowledge.
