  • Lead transition of various processes
  • To lead the launch process for various tasks and activities.
  • To run the process in a controlled based organization.
  • Individual would be responsible to productize the function and should be able to market it to other global functions.
  • To run it as a project until it acts as a feeder to other functions.
  • To create and mentor a very strong bench of pool of resources for future deployment.
Data Collection & Analytics:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information, validate data, and develop comprehensive financial research deliverables.
  • Building systems & processes, databases, firm-wide templates, and documents to standardize output wherever necessary.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into data analytics and reporting requirements.
Project Management
  • Lead project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing. Defining the scope of engagements, managing timelines, and ensuring timely / quality delivery to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Efficiently managing and producing a wide range of documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines. Conducting analysis & performing quality control check of the outgoing deliverables
  • Gather feedback and identify areas for improvement, providing quality oversight on projects and document timely and continuous feedback for improvements. Driving improvements in productivity using appropriate efficiency metrics.
Relationship Management
  • Stakeholders Management: (V High): To create an environment of trust and confidence with global partners.
  • Responsible for overall deliverables of assignments covering client handling, coordination, communication, quality control, and client feedback.
  • Build relationships with new and existing teams with a goal to identifying new opportunities - especially with senior leaders across the firm.
Team Management and Leadership:
  • The individual will be part of the recruitment process to identify and hire high skillset resources and build a strong team using their prior experience.
  • To lead the training process for all these individuals by way of leading the working committee closely interacting with various functional managers across the globe.
Education:
  • Chartered Accountant/ CPA/CFA/MBA/
Relevant Experience:
  • Strong consultancy background who has built a function/team from scratch with relevant experience of 10+ years and 5+ years experience in a delivery lead role for financial services firm or client.
  • Financial services experience with US/UK annual reports, financial statements, and analyzing businesses.
  • Reading and interpreting information from accompanying notes/schedules for a deeper understanding of financial metrics. Understanding the companys capital structure, debt details, and identifying related metrics and covenants of debt issued
  • Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Reuters, MorningStar and Factset.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge- BS, P&L, understanding/ interpretation of the financial statements. Someone who has worked in PM, IR, other finance functions.
  • Financial services/ asset management organization experience- terminologies, concepts
  • PMO experience preferred.
  • Have built, led, mentored successful teams.
  • Have experience in managing various stakeholders in different parts of the globe.
  • Asset management experience is an added advantage.
