The role would require providing advice and counsel to India teams on a broad range of local employment laws, litigation, vetting of real estate contracts, vendor contracts and other legal & compliance issues.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting local regulatory Licenses & associated filings, litigation, employment issues relevant to the region and supporting relevant India based and global teams of priorities, initiatives driven from Headquarters etc. You will partner into local India Legal compliance teams, People & ER teams, business owners on local initiatives and deliver high quality legal advice.ResponsibilitiesEmployment Laws:\xc2\xb7 Provide advice and guidance to business and functional teams regarding existing laws as well as any changes.\xc2\xb7 Handle employment-related cases filed before relevant courts and agencies and further work with and manage outside counsel as necessary litigation before any Court of law.\xc2\xb7 Regular Monitoring and ensuring the fulfilment of the Statutory Compliances under the applicable Acts. Minimum Qualifications\xc2\xb7 LLB/LLM from a reputed college - relevant experience of PQE.\xc2\xb7 Experience dealing with law enforcement authorities and other relevant agencies, Courts, Tribunals etc.\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.\xc2\xb7 Analytical acumen and ability to streamline complex processes.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of recent changes in Labour laws, compliances, and statutory norms.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders on complex issues and applying practical, business judgement to legal issue to determine risks and solution.Preferred qualifications
