This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.Were seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Application Development Manager II to join our Corporate Engineering, Enterprise Risk Technology team. This role is in Pune, Maharashtra HYBRID.In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

• Manage application development project for Market and Credit Risk business segments, including all phases of the systems development and implementation process.
• Provide analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for the client area application systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware, technology, tools, etc.
• Work collaboratively with business partners on technology solutions that have a significant revenue or cost impact, oversees the development and implementation of multiple application systems and identifies resource requirements to ensure best practice development techniques.
• Lead the development and implementation of full life cycle of application systems.

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Senior developer with 10+ years of experience in market risk, and/or counterparty credit risk, and/or front office risk with strong coding experiences in Java and Python, but expert experiences in C++ and .Net is acceptable
• Expert in Risk Systems architecture and design, with specialties in one/several of the following areas:

• Core risk engine build out is the most critical and desirable
• Risk systems migration
• Quant lib integration and optimizations
• Distributed caching
• Realtime risk
• Proven track record of working with remote teams effectively and delivering, in one/more of the following types of programs:

• PFE and/or VAR and/or front office risk systems re-write and migration
• Large risk program deliverables, including reg programs
• Proven track record to drive and manage a) global dev team b) large risk program delivery
• Proven track record to communicate/work closely with stakeholders
