Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced VFX Faculty member to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Visual Effects (VFX) and a proven track record of teaching and mentoring students in this field. The VFX Faculty will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and ensuring that students gain the skills needed to succeed in the VFX industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Training:
• Deliver engaging and comprehensive VFX lessons to students.
• Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and projects.
• Provide hands-on training in various VFX software and techniques.
• Curriculum Development:
• Collaborate with the academic team to design and refine the VFX curriculum.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Student Assessment and Support:
• Assess student progress through evaluations, assignments, and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their skills.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
• Industry Engagement:
• Establish connections with industry professionals and organizations.
• Organize workshops, guest lectures, and industry visits to enhance student learning.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 0-5 years of professional experience in the VFX industry.
• Prior teaching experience in VFX or related fields is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in VFX software such as Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Houdini, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with both 2D and 3D visual effects.
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages related to VFX.
• Familiarity with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?11,700.14 - ?53,774.04 per month
