1. Patient Care and Handling: \xc2\xb7 Assist with routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments of animals. \xc2\xb7 Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. \xc2\xb7 Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. \xc2\xb7 Perform animal restraint and handling with care and professionalism. \xc2\xb7 Monitor vital signs and record patient information accurately. 2. Diagnostic Procedures: \xc2\xb7 Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and process samples for diagnostic procedures. \xc2\xb7 Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, such as radiography and ultrasound machines. \xc2\xb7 Assist with the interpretation of diagnostic results. 3. Surgical Support: \xc2\xb7 Assist in surgical procedures, including preparing surgical instruments and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures. \xc2\xb7 Maintain sterile conditions in the surgical suite. \xc2\xb7 Provide post-operative care and monitoring of surgical patients. 4. Client Interaction and Communication: \xc2\xb7 Educate clients on animal care, medications, and post-treatment instructions. \xc2\xb7 Assist in obtaining patient history and relaying relevant information to the veterinarian. \xc2\xb7 Address client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. \xc2\xb7 Schedule appointments, manage records, and update patient information. 5. Facility Maintenance and Organization: \xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas, exam rooms, and kennels. \xc2\xb7 Stock and maintain supplies, medications, and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed. 6. Emergency and Critical Care: \xc2\xb7 Respond to emergency situations, stabilize patients, and provide initial triage. \xc2\xb7 Assist with emergency medical procedures and interventions.
