Install, configure, and maintain Veritas NetBackup environments, including backup servers, clients, storage devices, and policies. Monitor backup operations, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance. Ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies. Manage and maintain backup storage, including disk, tape, and cloud-based solutions. Perform disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution. Collaborate with system administrators, DBAs, and application teams to ensure reliable backups and restores. Analyze backup failures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Implement security best practices and ensure backup data is protected from unauthorized access. Provide documentation, reports, and technical support for backup operations. Stay updated with the latest Veritas NetBackup features, patches, and industry trends.
