Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Buy fresh vegetables from farmers and wholesalers.
• Negotiate prices to get good quality at the best cost.
• Check the freshness and quality of vegetables.
• Manage stock to avoid running out or wasting produce.
• Plan and arrange transport and storage for vegetables.
• Keep track of market trends, seasonal vegetables, and price changes.
• Keep records of purchases, prices, and stock levels.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Experience in buying or procurement.
• Good at negotiating and dealing with suppliers.
• Knowledge of different vegetables and quality standards.
• Ready to travel often for work.
