Job Description

Execute and monitor the short term trading strategies and books for a specific commodity, market or customer based on speculative and hedged positions.

Reconcile routine or repetitive profit and loss estimates and reports that require some interpretation of trading practices and procedures.

Track customer and competitor activity and industry trends. Understands the oil complexities and pricing mechanism Someone who traded in Veg /Soybean oil/Palm Oil/Sunflower Oil

Contribute to development and implementation of sales strategies, identification of potential customers and the growth of existing customer relationships.

Needs to merchandise edible oil cash into local market and take positions if necessary for local oil at different ports (Kandla/JNPT/Haldia/Chennai/KP)

Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum requirement of five years of relevant work experience in trading veg oil.

Connected to Indian local players and brokers.

Top 3 Mandatory Skills:

1. Minimum of Four years of working experience in Veg oil trading

2. Good Academics at least MBA with reputed B school

3. Understands the oil complexities and pricing mechanism
