Job Description

As a Veeam Backup Administrator , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the data security and business continuity of our diverse client base. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Veeam backup solutions across multiple client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backup and Recovery Management:
• Design, implement, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) solutions for various client environments.
• Configure and optimize Veeam backup jobs, including virtual machines, physical servers, databases, and applications.
• Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain data retention policies to meet regulatory compliance and business requirements.
• Execute data recovery operations as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Veeam Platform Administration:
• Manage Veeam ONE for performance monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning.
• Configure and maintain Veeam Cloud Connect for secure offsite data replication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Veeam infrastructure and operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Veeam technologies and best practices.
• Client Support:
• Provide technical support to clients, addressing their backup and recovery needs.
• Document and communicate technical solutions and recommendations effectively.
• Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure smooth integration of Veeam solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) and Veeam ONE.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of backup and recovery best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?1,000,000.00 per year

Experience:

• System administration: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• ITIL Certification (Required)
