Key Responsibilities:

• Design user-centred experiences for products, systems, services, applications, devices, learning experiences, and employee experiences
• Conduct research to understand user tasks, behaviours, and needs
• Create design concepts, prototypes, and wireframes to enhance user satisfaction and usability
• Refine designs based on user experience evaluation feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, implementation) to communicate design decisions
• Develop alternative design solutions and evaluate trade-offs
• Apply standard techniques and tools for designing user interactions
• Assist in overall user experience design efforts



Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in user-centred design principles, human-computer interaction, and usability engineering
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or Axure
• Understanding of visual design and branding guidelines
• Familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision, Adobe After Effects, or Framer
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and usability testing methodologies
• Basic understanding of front-end development principles and HTML/CSS



Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in user experience design (SFIA-3 level)
• Portfolio that showcases design concepts, prototypes, and wireframes for various products or services
• Strong understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and A/B testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field. Example from National Institute of Design (NID) or Industrial Design Center (IDC, Mumbai)



Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end development principles and HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with design systems, style guides, and visual design tools
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies (e.g., AR/VR, voice UI)
• Certification in SFIA (Society for Human-Computer Interaction) or UX design
• Participation in design thinking workshops, conferences, or user experience events
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira)
