:About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use): 10About the Role:The Team:Our Private Markets business portfolio comprises products that support the entire private markets investment lifecycle across asset classes including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Credit.S&P's flagship "iLEVEL" product line seeks a passionate and creative UX Designer to join our team and collaborate on the design of key strategic product development initiatives that will significantly differentiate S&P's value proposition in Private Markets.In this role, you will be responsible for designing validated, user-centered experiences that align with business goals and user needs. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.Responsibilities and Impact:Keep the bullets concise and avoid going over 6 of them to prevent overwhelming the applicant)Identify design problems and create elegant solutionsConduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivationsDesign user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions, while ensuring a consistent user experience across all touchpointsCollaborate across design, engineering, and product teams to understand technical and business requirements and ensure the design is feasible. Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and best practicesWhat We're Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and processBachelor's degree from a reputable universityExperience utilizing various user research methods (e.g. interviews, surveys, usability testing), and translating insights from research to your designsStrong critical and design thinking skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and identify/prioritize problems to be tackled based on project needs and timelinesUnderstanding of design systems and component-based designProficiency in design tools such as Figma, Penpot, or Adobe Creative SuiteExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with developersAdditional Preferred Qualifications:(Hiring Manager to complete - List a maximum 4 bullets outlining the key qualifications of the job, e.g. education, must-have skills, languages etc. Then list 3-4 bullets with the key soft skills required?)FinTech knowledge/experienceFamiliarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptRight to Work Requirements:This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.Return to Work:Have you taken time out for caring responsibilities and are now looking to return to work?
