• You are a strong interaction designer with empathy for the end user
• You feel responsible for your work and accompany your designs throughout the full design process from first sketches to the implementation
• You gather end-user requirements by organizing, executing, and moderating end-user site visits, focus groups and user days together with your user research colleagues
• You develop user interface designs using various prototyping techniques
• You verify your designs through reviews, validations and formal usability testing with end users
• You have a good technical understanding (preferably in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) to discuss design alternatives and solutions with developers
• You offer design support and consulting for the development teams
• You accompany design discovery projects together with design colleagues, product management and engineering

What you bringEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Interaction Design, Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction or comparable fields is required
• 8+ years of experience in Interaction Design
• Ability to design web applications and mobile solutions for business applications including a fast learning curve for the understanding of the underlying business scenarios
• Experience in designing business applications for ERP solutions, especially manufacturing or logistics applications
• Strong in interaction design, identifying user stories, creating user flows and low-to-high fidelity designs with tools like Figma
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be a solid team player in international teams

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• You have advanced skills in interaction design (ideally application design or design concepts)
• Experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop and Balsamiq
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 are beneficial
• Knowledge of Fiori Design Guidelines is a plus
• Experience in software development is advantageous
