To help us on this journey SAP Business Network is seeking a visionary Design and User Experience Manager for our Marketplace product line to join our Design & UX team and drive the strategy and execution of a cohesive and best in class user experience.What you\'ll doShape product direction:\xc2\xb7 Define and contribute to the UX strategy and be a thought leader in product direction.\xc2\xb7 Represent design in planning and prioritization, drive effort estimation to identify task allocation, team capacity and gaps for immediate & future quarters.\xc2\xb7 Contribute to product direction by suggesting features and enhancements to improve the overall experience.\xc2\xb7 Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.\xc2\xb7 Drive the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring that all designs are user-centered and meet the needs of our users.\xc2\xb7 Partner with cross-functional teams and disciplines to gain a deep understanding of the problem space, explore strategic opportunities, and solve complex problems.Set the bar for design excellence and craft:\xc2\xb7 Drive a holistic design process across teams or products.\xc2\xb7 Provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for product ideation and/or user research/testing.\xc2\xb7 Lead design critiques, reviews and product craft evaluation for Business Network.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with central design system team and other designers to identify opportunities for standardization and incorporate recommendations for components.\xc2\xb7 Evangelize and drive product standards.Support and nurture a design team\xc2\xb7 Mentor, guide, and grow a team of product designers.\xc2\xb7 Allocate resources effectively. Ensure we are always focused on the highest priorities while balancing short- and long-term needs.\xc2\xb7 Hire, develop, and retain the most talented team.\xc2\xb7 Provide feedback to leadership about performance and opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Help remove internal, external roadblocks.About you:The Design Manager will bring a successful track record of leading a team of Design colleagues with a comparable scale, complexity, and global reach. This person will bring a knowledge and experience in best-in-class User Experience and Design, as well as next generation technology innovation. The User Experience Manager should have a strong Creative and Design DNA and an entrepreneurial, hands-on, and can-do attitude. It is important that this person can quickly establish credibility and trust with key SAP stakeholders. Needs to be highly collaborative, low ego, and humble. The successful candidate will be able to build relationships with colleagues from different cultures, throughout the organization in an engaging and authentic manner.The successful candidate for the User Experience Manager will bring the following experience and attributes:\xc2\xb7 Comes from Cloud/SaaS/PaaS and/or Digital enterprises, is used to working in high growth and fast-paced technology firms\xc2\xb7 Successfully led the Design functions including visual design, user experience and interaction, information architecture, design research, data and analysis and experience managing and developing a high-performing global Design/UX team (5 years of experience leading design projects)\xc2\xb7 Track record of design excellence and bringing high quality products to market (10 years of experience in product design or UX)\xc2\xb7 Strong reputation in the Design community and network\xc2\xb7 High EQ; demonstrates empathy and highest level of social competence.\xc2\xb7 Reputation as a trusted partner and mentor with experience working with a variety of cross-functional peers and executive stakeholders (e.g., product managers, product designers, engineers, policy, communications, marketing)\xc2\xb7 Ability to learn and change.\xc2\xb7 High curiosity.
