We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Showroom Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our used car dealership. This role involves managing the sales team, ensuring high-quality customer service, overseeing inventory, and driving sales and profitability in a competitive market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive sales, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Management:
• Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic to the showroom, increase conversion rates, and maximize revenue.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to sales staff to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent follow-up, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Oversee the handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Inventory and Stock Management:
• Oversee the sourcing, pricing, and marketing of used vehicles to ensure the showroom has a diverse, appealing inventory that meets market demand.
• Ensure all vehicles are inspected, cleaned, and ready for display.
• Monitor vehicle turnover rates, manage reconditioning processes, and ensure inventory is rotated effectively.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source quality vehicles and negotiate favorable terms.
• Financial Management:
• Manage the financial aspects of the showroom, including pricing strategies, promotions, and special offers.
• Work with the accounting team to track sales performance, costs, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and legal regulations related to vehicle sales, trade-ins, and financing options.
• Team Leadership:
• Hire, train, and manage showroom staff, including salespeople, support personnel, and administrative staff.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to improve individual and team performance.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high morale.
• Marketing & Promotion:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the used car showroom and drive foot traffic.
• Oversee online marketing efforts, including social media, website, and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to create attractive advertisements, promotions, and campaigns.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding used car sales, including warranty requirements, consumer protection laws, and trade-in regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, financing contracts, and vehicle documentation.
Qualifications:
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in used/new car sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Education: any graduation
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry, including pricing, inventory management, and vehicle sourcing.
• Proficient in sales software, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
