Job Description

An IT recruiter's responsibilities include:

• Identifying job requirements IT recruiters need to understand and communicate job requirements for IT roles. They should also provide candidates with relevant information about the company and position.
• Sourcing and attracting candidates IT recruiters use various techniques to source and attract candidates, such as social media recruiting and Boolean search.
• Screening and evaluating candidates IT recruiters screen resumes and assess candidates' aptitude for technical roles.
• Interviewing candidates IT recruiters interview candidates and present the best candidates to the company.
• Negotiating salaries IT recruiters work with hiring managers and candidates to negotiate job offers, including salary, benefits, and other terms.
• Coordinating interviews IT recruiters determine the availability of everyone involved and schedule interviews. They also communicate the interview date and time to those involved.
• Collaboration with hiring managers IT recruiters collaborate with hiring managers to align recruitment efforts with the needs and goals of the organization.
