:
As a U.S. IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified IT professionals for a variety of technical positions. Your role will involve collaborating with hiring managers to define position requirements and to develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet these needs. You will be managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Candidate Sourcing:
• Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), recruitment databases, and networking.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for future job openings.
• Screening & Interviewing:
• Conduct initial candidate screenings, evaluate resumes, and assess candidates' technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews, including phone, video, and in-person interviews.
• Client/Hiring Manager Collaboration:
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand the requirements of the positions and the technical skills needed.
• Provide recommendations and market insights to hiring teams on salary ranges, candidate availability, and hiring trends.
• Candidate Management:
• Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Negotiate offers with selected candidates and handle pre-employment processes, such as background checks and reference checks.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, requisitions, and placements in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Prepare and present recruitment status reports and metrics to hiring managers and leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in IT recruitment, preferably in the U.S. market.
• Knowledge of IT and technology terms, roles, and technical skill sets (e.g., software development, systems administration, networking).
• Familiarity with U.S. employment laws, work authorization processes (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.), and tax structures.
• Experience using various recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, and ATS platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or within the U.S. recruitment industry.
• Certifications such as AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), Certified Professional Recruiter (CPR), or SHRM-CP.
