Job Description
: Accountant (US Accounting & Taxation)
Location: Kolkata
Salary: ?15,000-?30,000
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and records following US accounting standards.
• Handle US taxation, including federal and state tax returns, compliance, and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes for US clients.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger management, and other accounting tasks.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Stay updated on US accounting and tax laws.
• Assist in financial audits and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve financial and taxation issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in US accounting and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
