Job Description
The Fashion Design program at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Vijayawada seeks qualified Candidates for a full-time position for the position of an Assistant Professor. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a broad understanding of Fashion Designing or technical skills like Draping, Pattern Making/ Garment construction or CAD skills as well as exceptional teaching, research, and leadership abilities. We encourage candidates with multidisciplinary interests and expertise to apply.
Education Qualification: Degree Fashion Design or relevant areas
Required Experience: Minimum 1+1 - Teaching + Industry

• Hands-on teaching experience in Illustration.
• Knowledge of Fashion Design subjects, Fashion Illustration/CAD Fashion Design/ Knowledge of digital & Manual illustration.
• Knowledge of Design Process, trends, history of fashion, Fashion Thinking, Colour Theory and Range Development - Fashion Design
• Design course material

• Knowledge of softwares like Photoshop and Illustrator
• Understand tools and technicalities
• Having a knowledge of digital illustration
