Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policies. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Identify and implement process improvements in the accounting cycle. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus). Minimum of [3-5+] years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in [industry-specific accounting, e.g., manufacturing, SaaS, nonprofit]. Knowledge of tax regulations and corporate finance practices. Experience with ERP systems and financial data analysis tools.
