Job Title: Dental Implantologist

Overview:

A Dental Implantologist is a highly trained dental professional who focuses on the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. This role involves diagnosing patients, planning and performing implant surgeries, and managing the post-operative care to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment:
• Evaluate patients' dental and medical history.
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, including imaging studies such as X-rays or CT scans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Implant Placement:
• Perform surgical procedures to place dental implants into the jawbone.
• Ensure proper alignment, stability, and integration of the implant with the surrounding bone.
• Address any complications or issues that arise during the surgical process.
• Restoration and Prosthetics:
• Oversee the fitting and placement of prosthetic teeth or crowns on the implants.
• Collaborate with dental labs to design and fabricate custom prosthetics.
• Ensure proper occlusion and functional integration of the implant restorations.
• Patient Management:
• Educate patients about the implant procedure, expected outcomes, and aftercare.
• Provide detailed instructions on oral hygiene and maintenance of implants.
• Follow up with patients to monitor healing and address any concerns.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with general dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, and prosthodontists.
• Coordinate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure smooth operation of implant procedures.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Document all surgical procedures and outcomes.
• Continuous Education:
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental implant technology and techniques.
• Attend relevant continuing education courses and professional development opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?60,000.00 per month
