\xe2\x80\x93 Design & Development LeadDesired Skills & Qualificationo Design Software \xe2\x80\x93 AutoCad, Solidworks & FEAo Education \xe2\x80\x93 B.Tech or M.Tech Mechanical o Experience working in a supervisory role in the manufacturing industry preferredo Experience in Design & Development of heavy machineso Led multi-disciplinary engineering team comprising of Mechanical, Electrical & Automation, Manufacturingo Assembly and Trial & Testing o Able to deal with multiple projects simultaneously o Knowledge of 5S, Lean, TQM, Kaizen must o Ability to plan & assign work responsibilities to draftsmeno Organizational skills & willingness to take accountability o Computer Skills \xe2\x80\x93 MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.Job Responsibilities & Duties o Design & DevelopmentDesign & Development? New product development.? Work closely with draftsmen by providing necessary guidance & approval to them during drafting activity of machines? Discuss & clarify drawing related issues with our manufacturing vendors as and when needed.? Discuss requirements with customers to provide solutions as per their requirement? Travel to different places for studying machines for new product development.Routine Responsibilities? Prepare bought out list for machines as per annexure & give it to commercial team for ordering? Continuously focus on reducing cost \xe2\x80\x93 Selecting right material, reducing cutting allowance, reducing machining, etc? Maintaining & updating drawing records for all the machines drawings created & handed for manufacturing? Work closely with manufacturing team for any design modifications or manufacturing related support.? Point of contact for manufacturing team for design department.? Time to time reporting to management for work planning.? Guiding draftsmen in design activities & supervise all activities of draftsmen.? Implement 5S, TQM process improvements in machine drawing activity? Act as a change agent & continuously focus on time reduction, resource optimization to speed up the machine manufacturing activity & improve performance. o Any other relevant duty as assigned by the Management. Duties to be updated time to time depending on company\xe2\x80\x99s requirement.
