Job Summary

:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PCB soldering, assembly, and testing, ensuring high-quality standards for the production of electronic devices. You will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and components according to technical specifications, ensuring that all work is performed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

:

Soldering electronic components onto PCBs following industry standards and best practices. Perform visual inspection and testing of PCBs to ensure proper soldering and functionality. Use various soldering techniques (e.g., hand soldering, reflow soldering, wave soldering) to assemble and repair PCBs. Ensure correct placement and alignment of components on the PCB using appropriate tools and equipment. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve any issues or defects in the PCB assembly process. Troubleshoot and repair defective PCBs when necessary. Document work completed, including time logs and defect reports, in accordance with company procedures. Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment to ensure peak performance. Adhere to all relevant quality control procedures to maintain product standards. Continuously improve soldering techniques to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics is preferred. Strong understanding of Electronics component and circuits. Proven experience in PCB soldering, including both hand soldering and reflow soldering. Knowledge of PCB assembly processes, materials, and tools. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with various soldering tools such as soldering irons, hot air guns, and microscopes. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to troubleshoot and repair soldering defects. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with automated soldering machines is a plus.

Physical Requirements

:

Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods. Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components with precision. Ability to work with chemicals used in soldering processes (e.g., flux, soldering paste). Occasional lifting of up to 20kg.
