Job Description
Manager - Cost Controller
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Communicating with suppliers to negotiate material costs
- Optimizing decommissioning procedures to minimize losses
- Visiting and monitoring manufacturing units to assess wastage and efficiency
- Implementing accounting software and automating cost control systems
- Developing financial reporting procedures and systems
- Proficiency in inventory management
- Economic and financial reporting as required by the business team
- Coordination and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and analysis of changes and possible development of efficiency solution
- Ensuring co-ordination and communication with the operational team
- Review and control of commercial operations, including costing, orders, margins, distribution network control etc
- Monitoring and analysing costs
- Researching to find opportunities to reduce expenses
- Evaluating project requirements to provide vital resources, including financial and human resources
Desired Skills:
- Min 4 yrs exp in the similar role - cost control, cost reduction, optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a dynamic team
- Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry
