The person will be a part of large Unix team and would be supporting business projects with Infrastructure delivery. Leading Business projects with E2E process - Take the full ownership of assigned projects, handle the project activities, complete all tasks and deliver the desired on agreed timelines by ensuring there is no project delivery failure. Follows appropriate infrastructure object deployment build guides or revised to ensure the error free delivery. Manage and handle technical escalations to initiate, co-coordinate, remediate and resolve the problems based on project priority and criticalities to ensure that all requests from users for assistance are handled promptly and effectively These will include all Unix system admin activities on Linux and AIX infrastructure.. What will you be doing Take full ownership of the assigned project activities and ensure that they are delivered in time and to quality. Implementation of changes on UNIX infrastructure. Manage and handle technical escalations to initiate, co-coordinate, remediate and resolve the problems based on project priority and criticalities to ensure that all requests from users for assistance are handled promptly and effectively. All requirements of agreed internal and/or external levels of service are met Be SME for UNIX. What we\'re looking for: System administration experience with strong understanding of LINUX, AIX OS, LPAR, VIO. Knowledge of clustering/high-availability technologies (Veritas Cluster suite/ PowerHA/ RedHat HA) Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, volume managers) Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLAN, Port binding/trunking) Knowledge of chef and scripting skills in shell/Python.
