Exp : 8 to 12 yearsLook RHEL & RHCSA certified candidates (version 7 preferred)Alternate Saturday workingLocation options : Bangalore/Ahmedabad/KolkataKey ResponsibilitiesOperating System (OS) Administration - logical and virtual: The planning, installation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers via server administration Patch Management: Acquiring, testing, and installing multiple patches without any impact to services as per patch schedule Systems Security Maintenance shall be performed according to Customer Policy and Processes Server Network Configuration: Maintaining the network components and management interface of a server Server Anti-Virus Management: Administration and maintenance of antivirus for a server Write required shell/batch script to enhance/automate manual administration and operational tasks Involve in planning activities for new requirements from Customer or other deployed Partners and provide optimized solution Ensuring device additions into monitoring systems and under maintenance service User ID and access management for servers and OS Support all software/firmware assessment, diagnostics, and OS/firmware upgrades Infrastructure Disaster Recovery (DR) configuration on virtual platform Determine required bandwidth and perform continuous optimization for Primary & DR site connectivity based on Vedanta requirement such as RPO (Recovery Point Objective) time Configuring VM/Servers/Application to be enabled for replication to DR site Perform DR run book exercise Manage & Liaison with OEMs completely to meet business objectivesPrimary Skills:Minimum of 5 years\' experience in managing Unix/ Linux environment A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems. Good teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Good to have Skills: Advanced certifications may be advantageous Knowledge on any Cloud technologies like Chef Understanding of Agile methodologiesMinimum Qualifications & Critical Exposure to Perform the Job at the Optimum Level8-12 years of ExperienceShould work as an individual contributor and having experience in leading teamStrong analytical, problem-solving skills, Quick learner who is self-driven and has a passion to excelExcellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.B.Tech or B.E. or MCA oy any IT graduation streams from a recognized college or institute
