Job Title: Hairdresser

Job Summary:

The Hairdresser is responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to clients, including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments. They must demonstrate creativity, technical skills, and a passion for staying current with industry trends. The Hairdresser will work in a team-oriented environment, maintaining a high standard of customer service and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform haircuts, blow-drys, and various styles for different hair types and lengths.
• Apply hair coloring techniques such as highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and full-head coloring.
• Provide hair treatments, including conditioning, keratin treatments, and other specialty services.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate hair care services and products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work station, tools, and equipment in compliance with salon standards.
• Stay updated with the latest hair trends, products, and techniques.
• Adhere to salon policies regarding appointments, walk-ins, and service time management.
• Promote salon retail products by educating clients on the benefits of professional-grade hair care items.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with fellow hairdressers, assistants, and salon staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a hairdresser, hairstylist, or colorist.
• Valid cosmetology or hairdressing license (if applicable).
• Strong understanding of different hair types, cutting techniques, and coloring methods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction.
• Up-to-date knowledge of hair trends and industry products.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working with chemicals used in hair treatments and color processing.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
