We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriter to join our dynamic team at Ipsita Insurance Pvt. Ltd. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to learn about the insurance industry and gain valuable experience in underwriting processes. As an Underwriter you will work closely with our experienced underwriting team and contribute to the assessment and analysis of insurance applications. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Analysis: Assist senior underwriters in reviewing insurance applications and related documents to evaluate risks and determine appropriate coverage options. Risk Evaluation: Learn to assess the potential risks associated with various insurance applications by analyzing factors such as applicant information, policy terms, and industry trends. Policy Compliance: Verify that insurance applications meet regulatory requirements, company policies, and guidelines. Data Management: Accurately input and maintain application data, policy information, and other relevant details in the company\'s underwriting software and databases. Learning and Training: Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop a solid understanding of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry best practices. Documentation: Assist in preparing underwriting reports, summaries, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of insurance concepts and terminology is a plus.
• Internship or coursework related to underwriting, risk assessment, or insurance is advantageous.
