Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data input, calculations, deductions, and reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees, contractors, and freelancers.
Stay updated with relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll, taxation, and benefits.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
Prepare payroll reports and analysis for management review.
Implement and maintain payroll best practices and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
Handle payroll-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service to employees.
Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data and records.
Act as a subject matter expert on payroll matters, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a multinational or UK-based organization.
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, taxation, and benefits.
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience with IMS Decimal payroll system preferred but not required.
Relevant payroll certifications (e.g., CIPP) would be advantageous.
