Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular, React, or other modern frameworks.
• Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Presenting and defending designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback.
• Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
• Proven UI/UX development experience of 5+ years.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design savvy and innovative thinking.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for rapid prototyping.
• Experience using Angular, React, or Vue.js for front-end development.
• Experience with responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with mobile app design.
• Knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, or other design tools.
• Experience with backend development frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
