In 2022, as per data.ai, ixigo was featured in the Top 10 most downloaded travel apps worldwide.As a Senior UI developer, you will be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in design, planning, development and deployment and help develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with the Tech, Design and Quality team to build and launch the product.Code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you shipDesign, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applicationsDeliver across the entire app life cycle, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and supportWorking directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize productsContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiencyQualificationspreferably from premier engineering colleges (IIT/DCE/NIT/RECs)3+ years of Javascript/HTML developmentAny experience with internet companies or the travel industry will be a plusMust haveAdvanced Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, DOM ConceptsKnowledge about latest JS frameworks and libraries like ReactJs, NextJsJS design patterns and concepts of OOPS and functional programming in JSPractical working knowledge of front-end build tools like grunt, gulp, webpack etc.Fluent in responsive design and development for mobile and tablet devicesJavascript testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library or similar toolsProficient with Test Driven Development (TDD)Proficient in writing unit tests and UI testsKnowledge regarding Frontend performance improvements in most common browsers, cross-browser compatibility issuesSense for appeal & aesthetics from a usability perspectiveGood to haveFamiliarity with ES14Knowledge of NodeJS
