How You Will Contribute:



Blue Planet www.blueplanet.com, the software division of Ciena, provides best-in-class intelligent automation software and niche professional services to help clients modernize their IT and network operations. Driven by policy and AI-based insights, Blue Planet delivers the closed-loop automation tools needed to align IT and networking processes--critical to facilitating digital transformation and an adaptive network.



• Responsible for coding, testing, verification, documentation, and maintenance. Responsible of implementing dedicated Epics with stories pro-actively and sometimes independently upon well-defined requirements, adhering to established standards of quality for documentation, coding, and testing (unit and e2e).
• Interacts well in a group, can work without much direction once priorities are set by manager and senior team members. Able to pro-actively identify and act upon issues and problems as they arise.

The Must Haves:

• Min 5+ years of exp in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Having experience in Angular 4+ is a must have.
• Experience on Docker, Kafka, zookeeper, or equivalent is helpful
• Knowledge of Java frameworks such as hibernate, EJB is helpful
• Experience with Kafka or similar is a plus
• Experience working with AGILE/SCRUM is a plus
• Solid understanding of Telecom EMS/NMS/OSS is preferred
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
