The Platform Services and Build department are responsible for the architectural design, engineering and ongoing maintenance of our Six Degrees core network that underpins our Connectivity, Cloud and Unified Communication / Voice products and revenue.Our UC Engineers build and deliver Avaya Powered by IP Office UCaas solutions to clients in a robust and efficient manner in alignment with industry best practices. This will include technical validation of solutions at the order stage and comprehensive testing and service signoff before handover into operational care.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and build Microsoft Teams Voice solutions delivered via Direct routing and Operator Connect.
  • Design and build UCaaS solutions from multiple vendors.
  • Integrate and configure 3rd party platforms such as call logging, call recording or contact centre.
  • Thorough functionality testing with sign off and formal handover to operations team.
  • Management and resolution of any issues identified during the service acceptance stage.
  • Providing support and expertise to technical presales and order gating process.
  • Build confidence and trust from customers, stakeholders within and outside the voice team.
  • Provide support and guidance to Project Managers during Pro.
  • Providing advice, technical guidance and training for peers.
  • Assisting with the creation of build processes and adherence to these.
  • Attend the post-delivery review. Identify areas for improvement discuss and implement changes to process.
  • Troubleshooting complex faults that have been escalated to our team.
Key Skills: Skills Set:
  • Proven experience installing and supporting Microsoft Teams Voice, On Prem PBX or Cloud UCaaS Platforms
  • Hold vendor accreditations for Microsoft Teams Telephony MS700, MSP721 UCaaS solutions (8x8, Ring Central, Avaya)
  • Ability to implement and support Microsoft Teams Voice On Prem PBX, Cloud UCaaS, Call Recording, and Call Logging solutions.
  • A working knowledge of SIP trunks and SIP service providers
  • Knowledge of IP Networking, VoIP, switches, routers and Internet technologies.
  • Networking skills including TCP/IP, Switching, VLAN\'s, and general firewall knowledge specifically around SIP ALG.
  • Good working knowledge of working with Microsoft Server Technologies
  • Familiarity with techniques for remote support including: TeamViewer, VNC, Remote Desktop and VPN working
  • Knowledge of virtualisation platforms VMware or hyper V
  • Knowledge of Xima Chronicall, Oak ReportX, Oak Recording
  • Contact Centre Design and implementation \xc2\xb7 Avaya ASBCE Product
  • CCNA/CCNP
  • Technical industry qualifications relevant to MS, UC, CC, Call Recording and Call reporting.
Required Skills Set:
  • Clear communication and strong inter-personal skills in order to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Good working knowledge of IP networks and TCP/IP skills.
  • Knowledge of SIP messaging call flows and analysis of packet captures.
  • Understanding of PowerShell Scripts
  • Understanding of Project Management basics.
  • Proactive and highly organised.
  • Clear communication and strong inter-personal skills in order to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively
  • Good organizational skills with excellent time keeping.
  • Professional, positive and decisive in approach.
  • Desire to learn and develop through self-learning, in house training and manufacturer led training courses.
  • Excellent fault finding and Problem-solving skills.
