Turbine Operator
Job Description
A turbine operator's job is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a turbine area, including the turbine, boilers, and other equipment:
• Operate and monitor equipment Turbine operators operate and monitor equipment in the control room, including boilers, turbines, generators, steam systems, and water systems. They make minor adjustments as needed and maintain proper water chemistry.
• Perform other duties Turbine operators may relieve boiler operators and fuel pushers during breaks, and perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
• Work with other departments Turbine operators work with other departments, such as maintenance, to remove equipment from service and make adjustments to operating equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?250,000.00 per month
