Your work profile
To develop Cyber capabilities in securing IT system changes against threats and further the Group's pursuit of business opportunities.
To support business leaders as trusted security advisers when delivering business value at pace whilst remaining within NAB's risk appetite.
Tconsult and help the business, project and technical practitioners reduce security vulnerabilities. To influence senior management and project leaders, in ensuring solution requirements meets the security objectives.
Essential capabilities (core)
• Strong communicator, clear articulator of technical/security concepts to technical and managerial stakeholders;
• Mediate delivery pragmatism with risk appetite;
• Adaptable to various risk & security management frameworks;
• Familiar with the dynamics and managerial expectations in a pooled resourcing structure;
• Broadens own technical knowledge via resourcefulness and professional development;
• Holds self and others to account on delivery quality and commitments.

Other capabilities (technical)
• Thorough understanding & hands-on experience in application security, infrastructure scanning, vulnerability management, findings management, cloud security, SecDevOps, Infra-as-code scanning, CI/CD pipeline security
• Good technical understanding of other technology domains, namely identity & access management, data protection, microservices & containerization, microsegmentation, security logging & monitoring
• Ability to shape Security solutions for Group wide consumption through sound design & architectural expertise and foresight. eg: what, why and how;
• Appreciates complex solutions and technology landscapes, balancing trade-offs between business, technical and security drivers;
• Awareness of the Product/Vendor market with the ability to execute on industry trends and good practices.
Experience
15+ years experience in the Technology industry.
7+ years Security Architecture experience with focus on Cyber Assurance control domain
Or
10+ years Solution Architecture experience with significant exposure in the Cyber Assurance space
Qualification Requirements
Degree in Computer Science / information systems or equivalent technical qualification
Security Certifications (e.g., CISSP, SABSA etc) would be beneficial
Location and way of working
• Base location: Bengaluru
• This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to Mumbai & Middle East client locations.
