You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing database activity to detect and respond to potential security threats, as well as providing insights to enhance database security measures.Key Responsibilities * Conduct real-time monitoring of database activities to identify suspicious or unauthorized access, queries, and transactions.

• Analyze logs and alerts generated by database monitoring tools to assess potential security incidents.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents involving databases, coordinating with the Incident Response team as necessary.
• Collaborate with Database Administrators and Security teams to implement and enhance database security measures.
• Develop and maintain database security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on databases to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Participate in the design and implementation of access control mechanisms for databases.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats related to database security.
• Generate reports and provide recommendations for improving database security posture.
• Contribute to incident response plans and procedures related to database security incidents.
