As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our DCM:CSAD Team youll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations:
Collaborate with clients to design and optimize NOC operations, focusing on infrastructure layout, staffing, and technology utilization for maximum efficiency.
Evaluate and enhance existing NOC processes to streamline incident management, reporting, and response times.
Define and implement KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure NOC performance, leading to data-driven efficiency improvements.
Implement strategies for proactive network maintenance and performance optimization, preventing disruptions, and enhancing network efficiency.
Continuously monitor clients\' network infrastructure, proactively identifying and rectifying network incidents, and providing real-time analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
Investigate and resolve complex network-related incidents, applying expert troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address issues promptly.
Collaborate with client teams to resolve network challenges, offering consulting expertise and technical guidance.
Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support or engage with vendors or service providers, ensuring swift issue resolution.
Collaborate with network engineers and other consulting professionals to develop and deliver effective network solutions.
Possess an in-depth understanding of network technologies, protocols, and industry best practices, and stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and network management systems (NMS).
Desired qualifications
Extensive experience in Network Operation Center (NOC) design, implementation, and management.
Hands-on experience with NOC automation tools to streamline operations, such as scripting for automated response, automated alerting systems, and AI-based monitoring solutions.
Experience in implementing orchestration tools and workflows to automate routine NOC tasks and processes.
Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and system interdependencies.
Experience with incident response, as well as disaster recovery planning and execution.
Familiarity with current wireline and wireless telecommunications standards and protocols.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent technical writing skills to build functional/ technical requirement for NOC setup.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with a systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Education and experience
Bachelors degree in engineering is required.
An MBA graduate is highly preferred.
4-8 years of experience in network operations within a telecommunications environment.
Experience working with major telco players is essential.

Base location: Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore
This profile involves frequent / occasional travelling to client locations.
