Details of the role / application, as appropriate:

This role involves providing top-notch technical support to customers integrating ServiceNow with external platforms and infrastructure. The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LDAP, SSO, Web Services, Email, and data extraction technologies. The role requires deep technical knowledge, scripting and coding capabilities, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, and a passion for customer satisfaction. This role requires working from the office five days a week. There are two different shifts--Shift 1: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Shift 2: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please note, there are no night shifts.



Key responsibilities and expected 'output':

As a member of the Integrations SME Group, the Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for resolving integration-related technical issues and ensuring seamless communication between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems. 1.Support integration issues involving LDAP, SSO, email, REST/SOAP APIs, and JDBC/ODBC 2.Install, implement, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems 3.Debug object-oriented code (Java preferred) and scripts (JavaScript, Python, etc.) 4.Work across Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server environments 5.Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to resolve complex issues 6.Communicate effectively to explain technical concepts clearly 7.Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base improvements



'Required' tech stack and other related details:

LDAP/Active Directory, SSO (SAML, SiteMinder), Email Infrastructure, Web Services (SOAP/REST), JDBC/ODBC, Network Infrastructure, Object-Oriented Programming (Java preferred), JavaScript/Python/Perl/Shell Scripting, Relational Databases (MySQL/Oracle), Linux/Unix or Microsoft Server, ITIL/ITSM/CMDB knowledge



'Good to have' tech stack and other related details:

Experience with ServiceNow platform (Authentication, Email, Web Service, Import/Export configurations), Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Okta), Eclipse IDE, Web application performance tuning, SaaS support experience, Prior experience in software development or consulting



Any other information considered 'critical' / 'Useful':

o Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent degree and experience) o 2+ years providing customer-facing technical support (Web based products or e-commerce preferred) o Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for appropriate roles.
