Position: Tanker Driver

Job Summary:

• Only Tamil driver •

As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting liquid cargo safely and efficiently from one location to another. Your primary duty will be to operate tanker trucks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. You will be responsible for inspecting your vehicle, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining accurate records of your trips.

1. Safe Operation of Tanker Trucks:

Drive tanker trucks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.

Operate specialized tanker equipment for loading, unloading, and transporting liquids.

2. Cargo Handling:

Inspect the tanker and its contents before and after each trip.

Ensure proper loading and unloading of liquid cargo, following established procedures.

Verify that the cargo is secure and properly placarded according to regulatory requirements.

3. Compliance and Documentation:

Maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing the transport of hazardous materials.

Complete accurate and timely logs, trip reports, and other required paperwork.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the tanker truck.

Report any mechanical issues promptly and ensure timely repairs.

5. Safety Procedures:

Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or incidents.

6. Communication:

Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, other drivers, and relevant personnel.

Report any delays, accidents, or incidents immediately.

7. Customer Service:

Interact professionally with customers and suppliers during loading and unloading operations.

8. Adaptability:

Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and adapt to changes in delivery routes or schedules.

Qualifications:

Valid Heavy driver's license and hazardous driving licence (HMV & ) with tanker endorsement.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid Heavy driver's license (HDL) with tanker endorsement.

Proven experience as a tanker driver or similar role.

Knowledge of and compliance with transportation regulations.
