Role: National Head - Media Sales
Reports to: CEO
Location: Flexible
A National Head of Ad Sales (Agency Partnerships) for a Trell would be responsible for leading and managing the organization\'s advertising sales efforts. This might include developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and agencies, and overseeing a team of sales professionals.
Some specific responsibilities might include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing strategies to drive ad sales revenue through partnerships for the agency.
- Identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities, including evaluating the potential value of each partnership for the agency.
- Negotiating and closing partnerships with clients and industry partners.
- Managing and maintaining relationships with existing partners, including managing contract renewals and upsell opportunities.
- Developing and presenting proposals to potential partners.
- Providing guidance and support to the ad sales team on partnership-related matters.
- Tracking and reporting on the performance of partnerships, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and staying informed about new advertising technologies.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure the ad sales team operates efficiently.
- Signing up volume deals with large clients and agencies
- To be successful in this role, the National Head of Ad Sales (Agency Partnerships) should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in sales.
- They should also be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. In addition, they should have a deep understanding of the advertising industry, including the latest trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a focus on video
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing and growing a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationships with agencies and brands
- Experience selling short form video content is a plus
