Job Summary: As a Travel Sales Executive, your main responsibility is to generate sales for travel packages and services. You will actively seek out new clients, build relationships with existing ones, and provide them with personalized travel solutions. Your goal is to meet sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Business Development:
• Promote and sell travel packages, tours, cruises, flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services to individual and corporate clients.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand client base.
• Identify business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential leads.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their travel preferences and needs.
• Provide personalized travel advice and recommendations based on clients' preferences and budget.
• Follow up with clients before, during, and after their trips to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Product Knowledge and Marketing:
• Stay updated on travel industry trends, destinations, and products.
• Create attractive travel packages and promotional offers to attract clients.
• Assist in marketing activities such as participating in travel expos, preparing marketing materials, and promoting special deals.
• Booking and Reservation Management:
• Handle bookings and reservations using travel booking systems and software.
• Ensure accuracy of bookings and provide clients with detailed itineraries and travel documents.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to confirm bookings and resolve any issues.
• Customer Service and Support:
• Respond to client inquiries and provide information about travel options, pricing, availability, and terms.
• Assist clients in resolving any issues or concerns related to their travel arrangements.
• Offer 24/7 support for clients during their travels, including emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
• Financial Management:
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and payment schedules for clients.
• Monitor and manage financial transactions, including payments and refunds.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Travel Sales Executive, Travel Consultant, or similar role in the travel industry.
• Strong sales skills with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field may be preferred.
Additional Information:
• This position may involve occasional travel for industry events, familiarization trips, or client meetings.
• Certification from a recognized travel institute (e.g., IATA certification) is advantageous.
