Job Detail:
1. Sales Generation
• Promote Tourism Packages: Sell holiday packages, tours, and travel-related services to potential clients.
• Lead Generation: Identify new prospects and convert them into clients. This involves researching potential clients, attending trade shows, and networking within the industry.
• Client Retention: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals by actively pursuing leads and closing sales.
2. Client Consultation & Advisory
• Understand Client Needs: Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
• Customized Solutions: Provide tailored travel packages, tours, accommodations, and transportation options based on customer needs.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest travel destinations, packages, and promotions to effectively guide customers.
3. Marketing & Promotions
• Promote Offers & Packages: Present and promote seasonal and exclusive packages to customers through various marketing channels (e.g., email campaigns, social media, etc.).
• Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional material, flyers, and advertisements to drive sales.
4. Customer Service & Support
• Post-Sales Support: Assist customers before, during, and after their travel to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or queries.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers post-trip to improve services and address any areas of concern.
• Handle Complaints: Address any customer complaints, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive customer experience.
5. Networking and Relationship Building
• Build Partnerships: Establish relationships with travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and other vendors in the tourism industry to negotiate better deals for clients.
• Attend Events and Trade Shows: Participate in tourism industry events to expand professional networks and stay updated with industry trends.
6. Sales Reporting & Administration
• Maintain Sales Records: Keep track of leads, follow-ups, and sales performance through CRM systems or other tools.
• Report Sales Progress: Regularly report sales performance, progress towards targets, and market trends to management.
• Prepare Proposals and Contracts: Draft, present, and negotiate contracts with clients for tourism services.
7. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
• Conduct Market Research: Research travel trends, client preferences, and competitor offerings to stay competitive in the market.
• Analyze Competitor Activity: Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and service offerings to help develop effective strategies.
8. Collaboration with Internal Teams
• Coordinate with Operations Team: Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all travel arrangements are in place and run smoothly.
• Work with Finance Team: Coordinate with the finance department for billing, invoicing, and payment collection.
9. Administrative Tasks
• Documentation: Ensure all sales paperwork, contracts, and booking confirmations are accurate and complete.
• Booking Management: Handle client bookings and ensure all travel requirements are met on time.
10. Continuing Education
• Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, new destinations, and evolving customer preferences.
• Product Training: Continuously update knowledge of products, services, and destinations through training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
