Job Summary:
The Senior Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice and customized travel itineraries for clients in the corporate and leisure sectors. This role involves understanding client needs, managing bookings, negotiating with travel suppliers, and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the travel industry and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize complex travel itineraries for both corporate and leisure clients, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Provide expert advice on travel options, destinations, accommodation, and transportation.
• Handle travel bookings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and tours, ensuring the best value and options for clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and rates for the best possible deals.
• Manage travel budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality services.
• Handle travel issues and emergencies, offering solutions to ensure minimal disruption for clients.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information.
• Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and other documentation needs.
• Work closely with the Events and Hospitality teams to provide travel support for group events, conferences, and tours.
• Train and mentor junior travel consultants within the team.
• Ensure excellent customer service at every step, providing personalized attention and timely follow-up with clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Excellent understanding of international travel, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
• Experience in handling both corporate and leisure travel.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills, especially in handling travel disruptions or emergencies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with travel management software.
• Experience in event-related travel coordination.
• Strong networking skills with travel suppliers and vendors.
